Filming is currently underway for the second series of Kyla Harris' BBC Two show We Might Regret This, which co-stars Edward Bluemel, Sally Phillips and Darren Boyd.

Harris' semi-autobiographical comedy drama, following a tetraplegic artist who moves to London to live with her older boyfriend, was an instant hit when it premiered in August 2024 and was swiftly commissioned for two more seasons. In the same year, the Canadian filmmaker was recognised alongside co-writer Lee Getty as part of BAFTA's Breakthrough cohort. When Harris became disabled aged 15 she was told her dream of becoming a performer was unlikely to ever happen; she has undoubtedly proved critics wrong.
